Edison Place is the revitalization of an existing apartment building and the addition of newly constructed units to energize and transform the site. The existing 100-unit building will be substantially renovated and upgraded, and a newly constructed building will create an additional 100 units of affordable housing. The 200 one- and two-bedroom units are affordable to households with annual incomes from 30% to 80% of AMI. Edison Place was awarded $8.5 million in competitive financing from the state to develop workforce housing. Edison Place is designed to engage with the public realm with balconies and other architectural details.
