Jefferson Avenue Apartments is a new construction project in Buffalo, NY that advances the City’s revitalization efforts as a priority infrastructure project. The two beautifully designed and newly construction buildings offer affordable housing opportunities and engage the community with commercial and retail space as well as a public art installation by local artists. The 89 residential units are located on each building’s upper floors while the ground floors provide the commercial and office space. The residential amenities include community rooms with kitchens, laundry rooms, a playground, greenspace, and off-street parking. The 89 one- and two-bedroom units are affordable to households with annual incomes from 50% to 90% of AMI. A subset of units is designated for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Jefferson Avenue Apartments was completed in 2020 and is fully occupied.
