The property was originally financed and constructed in 1968 under the New York State Mitchell-Lama Program. The renovation will significantly upgrade and energize the building while preserving the affordability for current and future residents. The residential amenities include Energy Star-rated appliances and high efficiency heating and cooling systems, communal outdoor patios, private balconies for some units, a community room, laundry facilities, mail room, and ample off-street parking in the adjacent garage. One small medical office space is located on the building’s ground floor. The 164 studios, one- and two-bedroom units are affordable to households with annual incomes up to 50% of AMI.
