San Marcos Heights is a 132-unit, new construction, affordable-workforce development for families located in St. Augustine, FL. San Marcos Heights consists of four garden style residential buildings and a clubhouse. San Marcos Heights will have a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, all of which will be reserved for households whose income are at or below 60% AMI. Some of the resident amenities will include an abundance of park-like open space, a 5,000 square foot community clubhouse, security surveillance, washer and dryers for each unit, high efficiency Energy Star appliances, and luxury vinyl tile throughout the units with ceramic tile in the bathrooms. The clubhouse includes a fitness center, business center with computers, children’s library, and a spacious community room with a kitchen for resident celebrations. To build San Marcos Heights, Smith & Henzy successfully secured a $15 million Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Relief from St. Johns County. San Marcos Heights is currently under construction and slated for completion in 2022.
